Will Mike Hurley win the 2026 Burnaby mayoral election?

The question asks whether Mike Hurley will win the 2026 Burnaby mayoral election. The two provided articles are obituaries for Dennis Edgar Hurley and Dale Hurley, both published in 2026. Neither article mentions Mike Hurley, Burnaby, or any political election. They are entirely unrelated to the question. Without any relevant information about Mike Hurley's candidacy, campaign, or electoral prospects, there is no basis to assign a probability above the default near-zero level for an unknown candidate. The resolution criteria require credible reporting on the election outcome, and no such reporting is present. Therefore, the probability that Mike Hurley wins is extremely low.
